- Fees are to be paid in full in New Zealand dollars preferably by bank cheque. Fee Calculations ratified by the Board of Trustees for the 2007 academic year are:

- If International Students attend Roydvale School for less that one academic year, then the costs are as follows:
- Medium Term Enrolment (One, two or three terms) $3,000 per term (which includes ESOL fee and administration costs) plus $900 Crown Fee. For example an International Student wanting to enrol for two terms will be charged $3,000 x 2 = $6,000, plus $900 Crown Fee = $6,900.
- All fees are to be paid in full before the child is placed in a class.
- If International Students do not have the necessary Student Visa or Permit they will be required to obtain one. It is an offence to be enrolled in a New Zealand school without such documents.
OTHER CHARGES YOU WILL HAVE TO MEET INCLUDE:
- Cost of uniform
- Cost of stationery
- Payments for extra curricular activities such as school excursions, camps, cultural activities, transport for sport, etc.
- The cost of dental treatment.
- Specialist support services e.g. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychological Services or any other additional learning support.
- Truancy Service in case of prolonged, unexplained periods of absence from school.
- The 2007 fees as set by the Board of Trustees are as above.
- Fees for the period of enrolment shall be paid in full prior to the student commencing tuition at the school.
- The school shall have no obligation to refund all or any of the tuition fees paid for any student where false or misleading information is supplied.
- Any request for a refund shall be made in writing to the Board of Trustees of the school who have sole discretion to grant a full or partial refund.
- If an application is made to the Board for a refund, such application shall be in writing and addressed to the Board. The Board shall in its sole discretion review any such application subject to clause 4, and refund such money as decided. For the avoidance of doubt, if a student commences tuition in a term, then no refund of that term's fees is available and clause 4 shall apply.
- At the discretion of the Board, one term's payment shall be retained by the school if either party terminates the international enrolment earlier than agreed (including change of status from International Students to New Zealand Resident.)
- The Board reserves the right to deduct from any refund granted all amounts payable to the school or the Board. Without limitation such amounts may include term activity fees, library books outstanding or any other commitment.
- Any refunds will be GST inclusive.
- If the student is withdrawn before the contract with the school expires the New Zealand Immigration Service will be informed by the school.
- We reserve the right to modify the programme delivery and class placement in order to met the needs of the student.
- All International fees paid shall be accrued as income received in advance and will only be recognised as income earned on a term by term basis as each term commences.
- Fees that have not been applied as income earned by the school shall be treated as a liability in the school's financial accounts. Any fee refunds shall be satisfied from this liability.
- It is agreed that if during a term a student changes status from an International Student to a New Zealand Resident then their right to remain at the school may be jeopardized and the student may not be able to remain at the school.
